Between that and my niece wanting this Designer's World game that I found easily enough but the only places that carry it want $40+ for it and the ones that have it for less are sold out!

...I'm already over Christmas shopping! grrr...

It's spelled Miuchiz so you were right about the misspelling.

    Official website: <a href="http://www.miuchiz.com/" target="_blank">http://www.miuchiz.com/</a>

Or for one example of a retailer:

    <a href="http://www.etoys.com/genProduct.html?PID=4726301&ctid=17" target="_blank">http://www.etoys.com/genProduc
    t.html?PID=4726301&ctid=17</a>

$30 bucks or so. I'd make sure to ask your nephew which monster he wants before you buy one.

It works like one of those old tamigachi pets that were the rage a few years ago alone. It also has an infrared port so that one unit can talk and play games with another unit.

The kicker is though that you can plug the unit into a computer and it lets you upload your monster to a virtual 3d online world(like a video game with everyone playing together online), and lets the player chat with other people who also have monsters.

What worries me is that these are kids chatting online in one place. It's sure to attract all sorts of weirdos(aka pedophiles) who want to chat with little boys and girl online. Make sure your sister in law knows what this product entails before you get one. I guess it would depend on the maturity level of your nephew.
