Obviously it will be slightly different when it's complete, but from the ground it looks like they tore out a lively swamp to replace it with this barren wasteland. The Mickey shape is only visible from the air and creates a lot of unused space on the site, which really makes me wonder why they decided to do it and/or place it in such a prominent area that is visible to so many guests
