Dino-Rama is a washed up tarvelling carnival meant to be located in a mall's parking lot. I'd rather have an open field verses Dino-Rama. It's too bad too cause AK even with Dino-Rama is a premium park.

It's my opinion, a thousand or so miles away in NJ, but AK has always seemed like a way to keep WDW guests off of I-4 West headed for Busch Gardens in Tampa.

Both have a safari, shopping areas, random animal exhibits, bird show, etc... BG has a midway with carnival games and rides, AK has Dinoland to match.
Gotta be honest, it works for me and my family. We don't really have an interest in going to Busch Gardens any longer, so we spend more time and $ in WDW.
EE looks cool, but I would like to see more interactive info about animals. We are a captive audience in the park. Learn us something.

Isn't that the 'Storyline' behind Dinorama in the first place?? I mean, nice way to justify junkying up DAK! Those Imagineers are geniuses!!!

I would hope the Discovery River Boats would get some readjustments and would reopen as a nice relaxing D-Ticket attraction.

One portion of the river could be completely enclosed and would show riders creatures of snowy habitiats like Antartica. Maybe an avalanche could even transport guests back to the iceage to see those creatures during a great blizzard.

It would be a nice long ride to kick the feet up on (which is needed in this gigantic park), and it would also provide this park with a second scenic sit down attraction the whole family can enjoy together.

The waterway is ripe for redevelopment. Half-75% of the attraction would take place outdoors, before the boats travelled inside for the cool (literally) grand finale. The outdoor portions of the attraction would feature a lot of Austrialian wildlife and surroundings. The Dragon's Cave would also be used as part of the adventure.

It would be a very cost effective improvment, along with a new animal exhibit for Asia (Pandas), a nice show stunt show type experience for Tarzan, and a trail through the icy terrain alongside snow creatures.

These additons would enhance the park experience, and round out the adventures a little better, while keeping Animal Kingdom fresh until its next huge land or E-Ticket (which should replace all of DinoRama).

I agree with pitapan. AK is the enemy of Busch Gardens, but Disney needs to keep AK a step up, make it stand out. Busch Gardens is nice but the animal attractions are getting smaller and smaller due to all the roller coasters being built. SO AK needs to capitalize on the Zoo ideas.

Perhaps something to do with Indy, either as a changed show or perhaps the DLR or TDS or even a new Indy ride?

Unfortunately, there is probably a good reason why more coasters are being built at BG - the paying customers want them. If they were getting sufficient attendence with just the zoo portion, they wouldn't have built the coasters. So I can't see why Disney would want to go down that path.

I hope you dont mean an Indy ride like at DL. I love the DL Indy ride to much for it to be a clone for another stateside Disneypark. I don't know why that seems to be such a popular idea.

Unless Iger intervenes or someone motivates hiim otherwise, word at WDI HQ is you will not see any major additions after Everest for a couple of years, at least. At any of the four Florida parks.

The one drawback to the AK, IMHO, is it is the hottest of the 4 parks. I'd love for them to have an artic exhibit, with refrigeration!
