Whether you come by ferry or by monorail, the trip across/around the Seven Seas Lagoon is far superior to the Disneyland entrance. 2) The MK's monorails have air-conditioning. 3) Let's face it... size DOES matter, and Cindy's Castle beats the heck out of Sleeping Beauty's. 4) MK's Tomorrowland is much more unified... DL's is a hodge-podge. 5) MK's Tomorrowland has the TTA (People Mover). 6) MK's Tomorrowland has the Carousel of Progress. 7) MK still has the Swiss Family Robinson's Treehouse. 8) MK's Splash Mountain is much more conveniently located. 9) MK's Pooh Ride is about a million times better than DL's. 10) MK's Haunted Mansion looks a lot spookier from the outside. This is particularly true at night. 11) MK doesn't have Fantasmic and the gosh-awful crowds that virtually shut down that area of DL every night. 12) MK is near Epcot. DL is near DCA (ohh... low blow!!)

The lake outside the gates 2. Splash Mountain, although this is kind of mixed. I like MK's because the show scenes are brighter and more lively, and while the log seating is more comfortable and easier to get in and out of, the drop DOES have a bit less of a thrill in comparison to DL because of the seating arrangement. 3. Snow White's Scary Adventures. I like that it has a more gratifying ending, with the Prince kissing Snow White and all. DL's lack of a real ending has always bugged me. 4. Swiss Family Treehouse. I really miss this at DL. 5. Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Do I even need to explain this one? 6. Room for GROUNDS. As a DL girl, one of the things that absolutely fascinated me on my first trip to the MK was all the HUGE areas they had for grass and flowers and waterfalls. So pretty! I know DL has no space for this kind of thing, and I don't fault them for it, but it really is a nice thing to be able to have.

At DL, you can hop across Habor Blvd and get to DL in less time than it takes to get from a Monorail Hotel to the Magic Kingdom. >>2) The MK's monorails have air-conditioning.<< And you have to stand. >> 3) Let's face it... size DOES matter, and Cindy's Castle beats the heck out of Sleeping Beauty's. << Bigger is not always better. >> 4) MK's Tomorrowland is much more unified... DL's is a hodge-podge. 5) MK's Tomorrowland has the TTA (People Mover). 6) MK's Tomorrowland has the Carousel of Progress. << I think I have to concede on Tomorrowland. But the MK wins by the margin of still having the Carousel of Progress. Still both Tomorrowlands are becoming Pixarlands. At least DL has the Subs moving again. DL Tomorrowland become a bit more unified when they moved the Matterhorn from Tomorrowland to Fantasyland ƒº (the Matterhorn was originally in Tomorrowland). >>7) MK still has the Swiss Family Robinson's Treehouse.<< That is stretching to be considered a significant advantage. But strategic in a way as it is hard for a Disneyland fan to retort with Tarzan¡¦s Treehouse (at best a lateral improvement). >> 8) MK's Splash Mountain is much more conveniently located. << I will go you one better on this one, the MK splash mountain is better than DL, particularly with the seating. Still I like Tokyo DL¡¦s the best of the Splash Mountains (in fact, I never liked Splash much until after riding it in Tokyo). >> 9) MK's Pooh Ride is about a million times better than DL's. << I would agree with you that WDW is better, BUT only slightly. Tokyo DL Pooh really does blow away both DL and MK Pooh attractions. DL is also in horrible location, but it does have a nicer looking load area than MK. >> 10) MK's Haunted Mansion looks a lot spookier from the outside. This is particularly true at night. << DL is the way Walt wanted it. >> 11) MK doesn't have Fantasmic and the gosh-awful crowds that virtually shut down that area of DL every night. << I¡¦ll take being able to see Fantasmic every night, and twice if I choose, over not having it at all. I find one of the best things DL does is the transformation of the daytime river into Fantasmic, it is about as magical as it gets. >> 12) MK is near Epcot. DL is near DCA (ohh... low blow!!) << And the standby wait for Soaring is less than an hour most days and I can walk across and get a fastpass for it and be back in DL in 10 minutes. At MK it takes two monorail rides to get to Epcot. From what I have seen, Epcot has only two really popular attractions in it, Test Track and Soaring which is why Soaring has as much as a 3 hour wait. At least with DCA, I can walk across and cherry pick its few good offerings.

If you ask me Dl Anaheim's version is more crisp and colorful, has better ride vehicles, has a much higher capacity per hr. and is situated in a much more appropriate "show building"--- the side of a small hill with trees and shrubs.

I will try... perhaps other LP'ers can help fill in the details. The MK version has bouncing effects during the Tigger scenes and floating/rocking effects during the flood scenes that the DL version does not have. I remember the Heffalumps/Woozles room being better at WDW. Overall the WDW version seemed to have more movement... the DL version seemed rather static. The WDW ride also seemed to be longer. My memory could be faulty, but that is what my opinion is based on.

I'll be the first to admit that Dl Pooh is a cheap, second rate attempt at a "darkie" and so is the one at Florida. But, I would rather ride Dl's because it is more colorful(probably because it is newer) and I like the outside area much better--- the hill and its trees/shrubs.

I do like the outside area better at DL, but that is probably the attraction's only redeeming quality.

Great show. If you argue with me on this one, you're un-American and will be immediately shipped to Canada. (For those Canadians who are here on the boards...Stay right where you're at.) 2)Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. It's just a cheap, quick-service restaurant, but for my money, Sonny Eclipse is one of the coolest entertainers anywhere. And the Philly Cheesesteak isn't half bad. 3)Better entrance to Tommorrowland. This one, I can compare from the pictures. 4)Mickey's Philharmagic. HISTA has Eric Idle, but that's still not enough to beat out Philharmagic. Most magical (such a cliche word on these boards) show I've seen in a long time. I definately wanted to stand up and sing along.

(Yes, I know the ride is inferior, but, we can blame budget cuts and Marc Davis for that. He hated the skeleton grotto's and going 'up' the waterfall at the end. He wanted guests to experience just the 'meat' or best parts of the ride. Unfortunately, the 'fat' that was trimmed is some of the most memorable moments of the DL ride and actually inspired the first movie.)

In Dland, you travel immediately from Blustery Day to the Floody Place with no "story" to tie anything together. At WDW you may also start out during a Blustery Day but then you have something like 4 scenes that move you along in the story before you get to Floody Place. >>>^^^DL's Pooh does not have a bouncing Tigger scene, which is the best part of MK's version.<<< Totally agree!!! Tigger really got down sized in the Dland version. Huge mistake. I wonder who pf the two sells more merch, its got to be close. >>>1)Hall of Presidents. Great show.<<< Sorry, give me The American Adventure any day over HoP which is a total snooze fest.
