I agree it would be fitting to pay tribute to Austin but totally retire a train...has anyone heard anything?

Figure the Monorail fleet is in the 20 year old range and the cost to replace the monorail is in the millions. I predict that one train would be retired for parts, the good NoseCone would be removed and put on the other monorail to make one good one. Why I feel this way is because the current fleet is with in years of retirement, miles are high. I beleive they are hanging onto them because they are building the 2 cruise ships so all the money is going there. building a new monorail and retiring it would be possible but if they change the monorail design, it would be the odd ball of the new fleet for the lifetime of the fleet. Slapping on, and telling the press it is a tribute is pure PR. My comments in no way meant any disrespect to the lost Cast Member, I think DISNEY is doing PR, not respects, concerning a bad event that should never have happened. ID

Plus, I also found Purple to be confusing.. it looks blue. To be honest with you I didn't even know Disney had a monorail Purple till this fatal accident. I thought the monorails was "dark" blue and "light" blue.

I expect that Disney will do the same with Pink and Purple after a judge decided how much of the wreckage needs to be retained for the upcoming lawsuit from Austin's family.
