How much fun I had wandering around bumping into various groups of LP'ers. From the time we arrived, literally, as we stepped out of the car at HoJo's Tiggirl greeted us by chance, to walking through the castle with Ursula and 3u2, it was non-stop family reunion. Lots of hugs and laughter and even some tears of joy were spotted. The amazing amount of time and love that you all are willing to share with each other is so beautiful. I'm so thankful to be a part of it and so grateful that you all have found an online home here at LP. I am so glad that we were able to introduce you all to two people we met through LP just as many of you have introduced us to your online friends. They were tremendously touched by all the attention and love you gave them and had a great, great time. Inspector and LuLu, thank you, thank you for all that you did to make this recent event so fantastic. The Golden Doobies and Secret Pal experiences have only strengthened the bonds of this online family. I thought that -em said it best when she described yesterday as "a family reunion where you love them all" Thanks to the choir, your performance brought tears. I know those types of things do not simply appear out of thin air, I appreciate the time and effort you put in to entertain all of us. It was true highlight for me and I look forward to seeing the video. I'm at a loss to truly explain how much yesterday touched me and how truly thankful I am for everyone's efforts and for the fact that you all wanted to be there together to celebrate. I wish all of the LP posters could have attended as you all have your own unique contribution, your own color and you are missed. Thank you so very much for acknowledging all that Dave does. We are so thankful that we met him many years ago on an exhaustive (and exhausting) 5 hour tour of Disneyland. I wish all of our writers could've attended yesterday as they all truly deserve to have shared in the celebration and the joy. We are so blessed with a terrific team of passionate individuals who help keep the site's content informative, interesting and timely. I guess the best way to sum it up is to share one of Doobie's favorite quotes from the man who set us on this particular path, Walt Disney. "You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world, but it requires people to make the dream a reality." Without all of you, this would be just a job, thanks to all of you this is the greatest time of my life. Rebekah.

One last comment -- special thanks to Darkbeer ... you are always so helpful in Vacation Planning, but you took it way above and beyond on this trip. Thank you so much for all the mini-meet planning you did, and your efforts to coordinate a "schedule" for people to follow. I know there were lots of people there who hadn't attended a meet before, or who didn't have personal contacts with other LPers. These mini-meets really helped these people connect with other LPers, and I'm sure made the trip so much more special! Thanks on behalf of all who benefitted from your efforts!
