Pixie Hollow is the new meet and greet area that replaced the Ariel Shell meet and greet in Disneyland.

The premise is as you enter Pixie Hollow you are shrunk down to Fairy size...You then will be small enough to meet Tink and some of her Fairy friends.

It is up where Ariel would be - Ariel is now over in the Princess Fantasy Faire wearing her dress. Or of course at Ariels Grotto in DCA.

It is between Buzz and the Matterhorn

Is it worth a 90 minute plus wait???

To some, but those waits can also be found at Princess Fantasy Faire for its Meet and Greet Photo/Autograph area.

It's not really a meet-n-greet "must" for us, but I'd love to see the changes.

I just wanted to zoom through it and take a couple pictures but I played by the rules and waited in line. Everyone was nice and didn't act like it was weird for a lone guy to go through and basically I ended up with a photo album here (~24 photos):

The lines should be fairly reasonable during our December visit, so we'll just do what you did. :)

That is to make you smaller so you'll be small enough to enter Tink's world by the time you get to the front of the line. And the way the speakers are set up it really sounds like it is going over you.

Be aware that Tink leaves just before the parade but she does return and I believe that it closes at 5pm but it would be wise to ask a CM to make sure. I had a lady get upset because it was closed and she was on her last day of vacation. Like it was my fault. LOL

I thought they did a cool job with the area and there is some lighting that will be added to the fountain area where King Triton was.

And the Tink & Fairies that I met on sunday were excellent. Of course this is just my opinion and I am sure that there will be people that will tear this apart too.

Oh dear, has that been happening a lot? I was hoping all the fairies would be there at the same time. Is it the case that they alternate?

anyone know if you can get the schedule? I don't mind waiting if it is to meet the long haired red head.

As for my comment about people tearing this new location apart, I should have stated I meant verbally. Sorry 'bout that...

The only minor quibble I have with it is that I was expecting to walk through it, snap a couple pictures, and get out of there. Didn't realize it was going to be a thing that's entirely based on getting your photo taken so I felt a little odd going through it as a guy who happened to be there on his own for a random AP Disneyland stop. I wondered if they thought, "So, this guy in his thirties can't wait to get his picture taken with the fairies." Anyways, no biggie, I played along with it.

ROTFLMAO - I have to say, I found a new level of respect for some characters once I hit puberty, and indeed my wife gives me a funny look whenever I agree to meet Ariel, Elastigirl, Maleficent, or Mary Poppins with the kids. Now I can add fairies to the G rated list.

But like Seinfeld says: "Not that there's anything wrong with that!!"...
