I keep wondering if the spigots for the WOC show will be visible during the day. I certainly hope not, as it will ruin the look of the simulated "bay". Since this show is essentially the same kind of installation as the fountains at The Bellagio, I'm guessing that the spigots will be visible just as they are in Las Vegas.

The same kind of thing is used (on a much much smaller scale) for Fantasmic!, so I don't know why they wouldn't try to repeat that for WOC.

There was something that they were installing early on that definately looked like some sort of lift. There were probably 10-15 of them scattered around the lagoon. When they built the platform, I lost track of where they were, but I'm assuming they will be used to raise some sort of special effects up.

They are the skinny rectangular platforms, like the one in the bottom right corner, just above the vehicle. Looking at the various pictures of them when they were being installed, it appears that they are able to move up and down as needed. The majority of the platform is built on solid columns, so I don't think they will do much for that. It also looks like they're covered up by the platform, so it will be really interesting to see how they end up being used (if we can even tell).

I'm assuming you meant that the lake bed was not flat. If Disney has figgered out a way to make an uneven lake, now THAT would be an E ticket attraction!

So if all the nozzles live just under the surface, do they need to come up to work, or will they work from under water? If I remember correctly, the big fountain in the center of Epcot's Futureworld uses the just under the surface type, and they do an incredible job.
