If we go to Ariel's for lunch is it still worth it to stand in line at some point for Fantasy Faire? Does any of that make sense lol?? Thanks again for any advice!

The only princesses we did not see at Ariel's was Jasmine (you can see her in DL at the Aladdin story show - in adventureland and after the show they do pictures) and Pocahontas. Ariel did not come to the table - but you saw her when you came in.

I was hoping we'd get to meet Mulan, since she was in the show, and also Cinderella, since we rarely get to meet her (as many times as we've gone, we've only met her once, and I din't have my batteries charged in my camera, so we need a pic with her for the autograph book). Anyway, I digress. So, yes, we met a Prince at the PFF and DD was thrilled. At Ariel's Grotto, I've seen pics that you meet her when you first go in (like you meet Pluto or Chip or Dale at Goofy's Kitchen) but she's fin-less. If you want to meet Ariel as a mermaid, you can at the Grotto near Tomorrowland, and the wait is not as long as PFF. Ariel will even comb your DD's hair with her dinglehopper before pictures!!!!

A chosen family will make the "royal proclamation" and announce the first princess. We saw Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, and Snow White. Each princess comes to your table. They each signed both of our girl's autograph books, and took a couple of pictures with them. Some were more chatty than others ) I preferd AG to the PFF. We did not go to the PFF at all on this visit. Too long of a wait and an unpridictable outcome - you never know who you're going to see. One time we saw Pocahontas, Cinderella's Fairy God Mother & Princess Minnie - not my girls first picks ) It's only worth it if the line is little to none.

On our last trip (April 29-May 7) we were lucky with the PFF. Our wait time was "only" 45 minutes. We caught the changing of the princesses so we ended up seeing five instead of three a couple of times. We also did not see a Prince or Princess Minnie (the Fairy Godmother came in just after we passed her spot). Unless it is the end of the day, the princesses did not rush us. It is also free (as opposed to Ariel's Grotto). We spend about an hour at Ariel's Grotto, too. I like the backdrop at PFF better. I always have people in the background when we eat at AG (I'm fussy about my pictures). I still don't like the PFF, and wish Disney would allow us to suspend belief and have more than one "Snow White" (for example) walking around DisneyLand at the same time. One could be at the PFF, the other at the Main Gate, Town Center, or around the castle. Just my two cents.

Once we got there they closed the outside and we sat inside so they introduced Bellle, Snow White, Aurora and of course Ariel was at the entrance and then finally they announce Princess Minnie and I almost had a heart atack so Ariel's is now my total favorite, I love it
