A couple of weeks ago in a disneyshopping.com sale I ordered 6 villains snowglobes and a small Christmas present for a friend. Last week I got the shipment notification, and a couple of days later my order arrived - 2 villains snowglobes. I got straight on to DHL Australia, who said they only had a record of one order for me (my email from Disney said that all 6 had shipped together) and that they couldn't trace it further without the Airwaybill number. So I called Disney, waited on hold for 10 minutes and they said to wait until today and call them back and they'd be able to give me the airwaybill number. I did email them at the time just to be doubly sure of getting an answer, but I haven't had a response from that.

So I called them again today, this time waiting for 35 minutes (all of this is at international rates) and I was told that they would email the Billing department and ask them to email me the Airwaybill number. However, if I hadn't heard from them in 2 more days, guess what I have to do? Ring them back! As you can probably tell, this is getting beyond a joke for me. I really just felt like I needed to vent, but I think this is going to be my last disneyshopping.com order for a while. I've been buying from them at least twice a month for the last year (and regularly before that, although my spending has definitely stepped up in the last year). The service was great at first, but for the last few purchases I've seemed to have a lot of problems. It annoys me because they closed down all of Australia's Disney stores, so basically the only way to get stuff is through the web site but because I'm international, I have to pay more for shipping ($50 per order) and more to get a problem sorted out!

    End rant :)

They will get the Disneystore.com domain name in 2007, but again that is a different entity.

If there has been another sale since the one already negotiated, I have not seen it so please provide...maybe I missed it.

So, I called Disney Shopping and was told that it was sent in separate boxes and to wait for the other one. The problem was that they put both boxes under the same shipping number, so there was no way to track each box. Luckily I got the other box a couple days later, but it was very annoying not to be able to track the entire order. I hope you also get the rest of your snowglobes, it's frustrating, I know!

I still haven't got my tracking number and no sign of the parcel yet.

Hmm, maybe that's what's happened ... I also might ask Disney when I call them next about refund possibilities if it doesn't arrive. It's been over a week since it shipped so should definitely be here by now! Thanks :)

Yep ... but Disney does OWN the Disney Stores in Europe still and I believe they intend to hold on to them (though I heard they pulled out of Germany a few years ago).

So on three different continents Disney Stores are owned by three different companies ... very strange indeed.

Well, I really hope you get the box! I just think that sending multiple boxes on one shipping number is a terrible idea. This instance (and mine) are examples of what can go wrong. Don't they realize there is no way to track multiple boxes that way? I have no idea why they do it...maybe cost cutting?

At this rate I'll be 90 and still emailing to say I haven't received it!!

1 month later the games arrived out of the blue!!!

In the meantime, perhaps disputing the charge to your credit card may help, Liberty Belle. I'm not sure if the banking regulations are any different in Australia, but you certainly shouldn't have to pay for something you haven't received yet and can't get resolution on.

Good luck and keep us posted on the progress.

Needless to say when I called back the 3rd time, the item was no longer available so they said they'd issue a refund. I waited a month and no refund came.
