Most places like Savon that do this charge about $5 dollars and even that seems expensive considering the cost of a CD, but you allow something for the service, but man this is overboard. Anyway this sort of gouging gets to me and I just thought I'd vent.

Well, the same principle holds true here.

That being the case, it costs Disney a lot of money to stock film and memory cards that are less to be sold. Retailers want merchandise that moves, not sits on a shelf.

But I agree it is still a rip off. But I love DL and will always have way to many memory cards from now on.

That's a minimum of one hour out of the park to save $7.00. My time in the park is worth more than that.

It would have been worth it to spend $12 to not have to haul that laptop with me. Since I'm from SoCal, I don't think I'd bother at D-land. But if I were from another part of the country spending a week at Disneyland, yep worth it. But only because I take Gigabytes worth of pics on these big Disney trips.
And btw, I'm one of those "squeeze a dollar 'til the eagle screams" types.

I would pay that money for sure to have a solid CD in my hands!

My memory stick is a 1GB so it holds more pix then I can ever take anyway but I still don't like leaving them just sitting around in the camera.

We never have a car with us when we travel to the resort so just going down the road to Target is more hassal.

I think international guests are going to use this service heaps!
