The skipper probably was silent because he was trying to control the urge to leap up and strangle you and throw your lifeless body overboard. Think of a situation outside of DL - if you're about to tell a joke and someone leaps up and says the punchline, wouldn't you just want to take a life? And when it's your job, as in a Jungle Cruise skipper, and perhaps this was the 4th time that day that someone jumped on one of your lines, you can see how you'd really be fighting for control. CM's are people, too. And while you never want them to lose control, you can sure understand how all of us stupid tourists can push them to the brink. So yes, I think you were wrong for doing that. Not a big deal, but you asked . . .

I was telling a joke and this man jumped in and beat me to the punchline. I was disappointed, but the more I think about, the more it seemed like a form of cosmic payback. This co-worker and I never really got along well anyway. Still, what goes around comes around and I got it when it came around. Sincerely, John Kilduff
