It doesn't have a ton of personality or make me want to visit the park at all, but artistically it does fit that piece of art pretty well. Since it's "Disneyland Park" it can't be an old logo that we all forgot about, but this just seems like a goofy place to introduce a new logo.

Of course I don't see every piece of collateral that the park produces, but it seems odd that they'd adjust the park's identity for one rather small promotion

I don't see them making the mistake again of changing the font, especially to a bland one like that. I agree, it is probably just for that particular piece of art.

I guess what I'm saying is that it would make sense for Disneyland Park to have a distinctive logo and font separate from Disneyland Resort much like the Magic Kingdom does at WDW.
