My floor still squeaks in one spot because it got into the subflooring. When we remodel the kitchen we are going to do all new flooring/subflooring. It may seem like a pain now, but be happy it happened BEFORE you left and not during your whole vacation! It is NOT a mess you want to have to come home to!! Hope it all works out for you. Hugs!!

We have to buy a new faucet, and mount when we get home, but all is well, we have a home warranty and a day off when we get home.
