    Friday: Universal Studios/Horror Nights

    Saturday: Head back home

My question is, which day should we stay at DLH. Its just my bf and me. No children. But we have never stayed there so we are interested on the scenery and waterfalls and such. Now we bought the So. Cal City pass so I believe it comes with a MM. also Disney closes at 9pm while we are there. So which 1 day would u stay at the DLH to take advantage of all it has to offer if you were going along with my plan.

for one night its $179 with the pin they emailed me...however, on the D site, for two nights its $340 which is $170 a night...would staying 2 nights be worth the $$?

I'm not a fan of changing hotel rooms mid-trip. Places on Harbor Blvd. are about $100 a night. For the extra $70 you are staying put and enjoying the entire time at DLH.

I'd say scope out hotel choice #2 then decide how much is it worth to you to stay in the same place for two nights in a row.

As for other choices, I recommend HoJos. They offer an Entertainment Card rate some nights that cannot be beat. The place is clean. The staff is amazing!

On the first night will you get there early enough to swim/hit DTD and relax or will it be later in the evening. Check out is 11am but you could leave your car and bags there in the lot and move to the other hotel later in the day BUT that would cut into one of your DLR days.

If you spent the first night at an offsite hotel, check out, drive to DLH, do a pre check in so you can go back whenever your room is ready. Since you are going to Universal for Friday night, you could spend some time at the hotel and DTD on Friday.

Now that I think about it, spending the 2nd night at DLH would be more relaxing. I'd also check into the Fall Getaway rates on the Disneyland website and consider whether you could stay both nights :)
