Also, walls have gone up around a track beam behind the Autopia Winners Circle store. It's the section of the track that enters the Innoventions building. I would assume that they are also working on the track inside that building as well."

    Can anyone back this up?

B: They could be starting to rework the track, to include an entirely new ride system. Maybe that motocoaster idea which seems to be the strongest rumor out there.

C: Running a test on an idea they have up their sleeves, but they are no where's near the point of knowing for sure it's an idea that will work, and get the greenlight.

D: Or could be doing something more general, that has nothing to do with a future attraction. Every time we see some sort of activity .. we jump the gun. We did that when work was done on sections of track surrounding Finding Nemo Subs. But added up to some new paint, nothing more. Or when crews were seen on a section of track, but ended up being a place for audio equipment, lighting for a special gig.

Lets just say though ... they are working on a future ride idea. Why would they focus on a part of existing track only, and not just start shutting down sections of Tomorrowland? This would give you the hint they are going to continue to keep reusing the old 1967 Tomorrowland infrastructure/buildings.

The TL:67 infrastructure/layout is coming on 50 years of age. How many times are they going to keep recycling this old land? I want to see some serious demolition! The only thing I want to see left standing are Space Mountain, and the Star Tours 4 simulator bay. The rest ... bring it down! And ALL of the Peoplemover track with it. Take Autopia too please! In the land's place ... New buildings .. new configuration .. new Peoplemover that looks like something out of the 25th Century!

We've been told Rocket Rods weakened the track in many places. There are these old buildings from Innoventions to Redd Rockets .. and Space Mountain's 2 flanking wings .. which need to come down. They can never do anything in Starcade's second floor .. because there is no ADA compliant entry-way up there .... I see a land that needs some serious demolition.

And if this closed section of track means a piece-meal job to work ONLY with existing TL buildings .... this means - The 1967 TL will be reused once again - in whatever New TL they do.

    NOT TO MENTION THIS .....

If they are working on this section of track for a future attraction .. that means the carousel building is staying.

I've been wondering for a few years now - thinking that may be it for that building. And it would come down for one big exciting new E Ticket. But if they use that portion of the Peoplemover track inside Innoventions for a new ride ... then that's a hint the building is staying.

OR ... are they going to severe that point of the PM track above Winners Circle .. and take down what's to the RIGHT at that point?

    Lots of questions.

But for now - I'm going to conservatively thinking they are doing something more general up there .. that will ultimately add up to nothing for now.

Me thinks - a TL overhaul is still a few years off.

Nothing is certain until shovels hit the dirt. I don't know how many things at Disneyland have had much more formal announcements than that, yet didn't happen.

I remember when they had run tests of new concept vehicles on existing tracks. I believe they had tested some sort of flying ride on the Peter Pan track at one time.

Makes sense to get a feel for something before mocking up an entire track system to try something out.

Why would they tear out an existing track system just to replace it with a similar one?
