In view of the post below that says OSHA has released the ride back to disney, I'd guess they'll get it open as soon as possible - maybe even this weekend?

Wishful thinking: 75% chance of it being operational by then.

    Gut feeling: 50%

However, I would think Disney would want it open by Columbus Day or HMH opening

Either way, I'm not sure that the special 'latin' days pulled that many additional guests - it just 'looked' that way on attendance reports because it coincided with the 'gay days' weekend, which is an unofficial 'non-disney' event.

Has anybody heard rumblings about 'fiesta latina' this year?

I would say less than 50% chance of opening in the next 30 days.

The last Fiesta Latina was in 2003.

Once you start to get reports of folks seeing the trains running on a regular basis, then you should expect something happening in the next few weeks. And so far, one train has run a few times, nothing more.

    >>Speaking of California Screamin', the state investigators have completed most of their work and Disney knows exactly what went wrong in Brake Zone 7 that allowed the train to slip out of that zone. When the report by DOSH is eventually released, it will focus on the piece of equipment that failed, and likely absolve the ride operators of any blame. The work going on now by Disney involves how to fix the mechanical problem before the ride can be reopened. The release of the DOSH report promises to not be flattering for Disney.<<

If it is okay to open, it will probably be open those nights. If Disney isn't going to unveilit for a while, and they want to take their time, the attractions absense at these nights is going to tell us.

Hahahahaha! That was great! But in seriousness I'm sure you're right on it being advertised like crazy as though it was new.
