Also, we are visiting with a Cast member and are wondering if their CM discount applies to equipment rentals like snorkels and stuff. Any other advice anyone might have about visiting the water parks would be greatly appreciated too.

We didn't snorkel but we did in 2006 and there was no charge.
Crush and Gusher is so much fun! Very smooth.
The lazy lagoon is nice too. Very long.
My 12 year old loved the wave pool.

Also, be aware that the water is kept at a temperature that's comfortable for fish, not humans so you don't want to stay in too long anyway, brrrr.

It's not so much timed as it is limited in length, I know small distinction.
I can't remember if water proof cameras are allowed or not. They do have to take the health and welfare of the sharks and rays into account so they may not.

Umm, I'm not sure if you're kidding or not. I didn't think they did any scuba in Typhoon Lagoon . . .

Should I even bother to bring hers? Will they let her use it in other pools or is it only in the snorkel pool?

Instead, we'd love to find a snorkeling spot on the coast of Florida. We'll be travelling down to Miami for part of our trip. Any good snorkelling spots along the way?
