So come on - share rumours or just blue sky for yourself!

I don't think it's feasible due to land issues, but having the Hogwarts Express encircle all of IOA would be awesome. Imagine ARRIVING in Hogsmead Village by train just like in the films??? I wish somehow they could work that in. A more "sedate", Haunted Mansion-type dark ride would also be welcome (for those that can't or unable to ride thrill rides). I'm not entirely sure what the theme could be, possibly travelling through the London areas of the stories like Diagon and Nocturn Alleys, maybe with a not so friendly encounter with Death Eaters and He-Who-Should-Not-Be-Named, but filled with wondrous F/X throughout. These are only suggestions on my part, though I'm not sure if the Chamber of Secrets is a bonified rumor or not.

The current circular door that leads to the water vortex can mimic the scene in the movie when the circular chamber of secrets door opens with the animated metal snakes. How about a Quidditch stunt show? Maybe a spells and potions show. Sort of like the movie monster show mixed with a magic show of sorts. I like the haunted mansion / fun house idea. Maybe populated with all the ghosts from the movie. Peeves can host as he spars with the red Barron. And Filch and Mrs Norris can be on the hunt to find you as you are not suppose to be there! For that matter - a dark ride devoted to Hogwarts' hidden passages. And the Wesley brothers take us on the tour using Tom Riddle's map. Ala - Indy Jones Run-A-Way train ride through the Goblin bank past the safes the protect Fun House ride throughout the Ministry Of Magic Underwater ride ??

I think a Gringotts coaster is basically a given. Other than that I don't know what the other addition will be.

Something like that. I figure the new section would have Diagon Alley, so the additions should be more London-based, or at least not Hogwarts. So besides Gringotts, I also thought about perhaps a dark ride in an enchanted Ford Anglia ala Peter Pan, Mad cap dark ride on a Knight Bus (maybe using the trackless ride system). I just want Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, with a menu worthy of the wizarding world. <-- Misses the sundaes that you used to be able to get at Carnation at Disneyland.

He seems to be changing his tune/hearing things because this week he encouraged us to start scouring the Orange County Comptroller for the first documents regarding the new project. 2nd source is pretty connected with Universal and basically said what we've all surmised would be phase 2 is the likely outcome. Meaning: Leaky Cauldron (quick service like 3 Broomsticks), Diagon Alley (Florean Fortescues Ice Cream Parlour and an expanded Ollivander w/ 2 showrooms) and the main attraction being Gringotts. The land would start where Fire Eater's Grill currently resides and would end with Gringotts replacing Sinbad. He heard that the Greek section of Lost Continent will remain unscathed. 3. Spirit said there would 2 major attractions, but I don't remember the rest. At the time, we took that to mean Gringotts coaster replacing Sinbad and Ministry of Magic replacing Poseidon. Then today, I came across the original WWoHP blueprints on Twitter and they show the area in question as "Future Expansion Area" I think that depending on what Disney does at the Expo, we could get official confirmation late this year, but it's more likely that Universal announces Transformers for USF this year and saves Potter for next year. One would guess that demolition would begin next year.

Would the Gringotts coaster be like Dueling Dragons (i.e. detailed queue, exposed coaster track) or something more along the lines of the Forbidden Journey ride (i.e. detailed from start to finish)?

Turn on your tv, you'll likely see a commercial for the new Potter movie which features a ride through Gringotts.
