    I've had relatives go through this and it is very hard to deal with for those with the disease, and those helping them. It is hard to watch an adult forget who they are and how to do even the most basic of things. Good luck to Glen and his supporters.

    Still Alzheimer is devasting; this disease has touched our family directly twice, so far.

    He may have been recently diagnosed, but he's had it longer than six months. My mom just called me to watch the Ralph Emery show on ch. 345 on Direct TV. Campbell is being interviewed and he keeps repeatig himself, forgetting key dates and facts, and words to songs. Overall, I thought he did well, though until I checked to see when this was first broadcast- 12/28/09. It was very bittersweet to watch.
