She finally completed all treatments on December 5, and we were looking forward to her feeling better, and hopefully having surgery to remove the original tumor. She passed away 2 days later. The memorial was Dec. 20. I'm enjoying having my daughter in town for 2 weeks but am already feeling bereft at the loss of my 2 good buddies. The loss of my friend Chris is finally hitting me now with my daughter home, but out with her friends a lot. I'll be missing DD so much for the next 5 months, but really looking forward to her being here for 3 months this Summer. Anyhoo, we got APs at Christmas and I'm thinking of meeting up with some of you wonderful LP folk when you're at the parks. Poohbear14 met up with me recently when DD's BF came down with us. Yes, DD's BF now has an AP too so I need to rely on my Disney buddies for company at DL, as well as cultivating some local buddies for companionship up this way. Other than that, life is good. I'm still in my home, have a good renter here, the dogs get along, and Coco is a bit better behaved. And I have an AP! I know that I'm blessed, but it's a hard time of letting go.
