However, let me introduce myself from scratch...My name is Lana, yes I am currently in a contest sponsored through funjet to win a paid Disney World honeymoon, And yes, this is the place I'd love to honeymoon. I've been a die-hard Disney fan since the release of Oliver and Company in 1988. Since the very moment I finished watching that movie I studied animation and the art of Disney animation and knew that that's where I was headed. Sadly, there are not any colleges near here that are good for animation and that dream slowly drifted away. That does not however kill my love for Disney. My fiance grew up in L.A. where he had easy access to Disneyland and was brought up around Disney. (Lucky guy). We both are huge fans of Disney. We work for a major U.S. airline where we first met and have the opportunity to fly anywhere in the entire world for free, but every single vacation we've taken since we met 3 years ago we go to either Disney World or Disneyland and we even have plans in the not so distant future of being first time home owners in Orlando where we plan to work and retire from Disney. So, the answer to your questions?? No, I'm not here to beg. I'm here to share my enthusiasm for Disney much like the rest of you. Sorry, for the confusion or misunderstanding and thank you for hearing me out.

Sorry, I know I'm a jerk. But really...

We both really like Disney World and want to honeymoon there. Is there something wrong with that?

I don't know the specifics of the contest (and I'm not going to look them up), but you already have free airfare from your jobs. You're obviously able to afford the parks. You're moving to O-town and want to work for the Mouse which means free park entry in the near future... So I don't get why you want us to vote for you. Sounds like there's probably a better couple out there who don't get to go as often as you.

You have opportunity to tap Dl Paris and Tokyo Dl resort but won't do it. Maybe you two are not as big of a Disney fans as you think you are. ---sorry, no vote from me--- better that I cast a vote for real Disney park fans

Originally Posted By lscooter1980 I want to win this because the prize is a honeymoon suite for 4 nights at the Grand Floridian Resort, 5 day park hopping tickets, a spa package for two and a free car rental...Which totals to about 8,500.00 USD. When I go to Disney World my vacations cost about 1,500.00. This includes room and board, food, car rental and tickets. We can't afford a $8,500.00 honeymoon. More less even a wedding! We are clueless of what to do because I don't have $50,000.00 stashed away somewhere to have a huge elegant wedding. Infact I'll be lucky to rent a reception hall which too looks out of my budget. We're not rich by any means...Combined income maybe scraping by with about $60,000.00 before taxes. And yes flying for free is a fabulous perk...But have anyone of you spent some time in a airport and even roughly took a look at what we put up with to keep people flying?? It's not an easy job and it's an industry that constantly changes. And I'm happy vacationing right here in the U.S. I've been out of th country and it didn't impress me much, and I got sick off the food. I'm happy here. It's my flying benefits to do what I want with not yours. Don't tell me I'm not a Disney fan...You don't know me, have never met me and have no idea. You don't want to vote fine by me...The contest isn't determined by votes anyhow.
