Small World is scheduled to not open until after this date. I believe it is supposed to re open on the last weekend of November...

Our Disneyland "family" vacation is always the week after Thanksgiving as the crowds are fairly low that week. Now I'm thinking the timing SW opening may make this not the week to go (crowdwise):(.

Also, last year they started Christmas a week later than the year before, this due to them needing more time to change from HalloweenTime to Christmas. Also last year was the first year for the snow on the Castle, so they needed more time to put the overlay on. I imagine this year Christmas will start on Nov 21, as was said. Hopefully they will have a press release about it soon, but probably not until September or October. They may have one for HalloweenTime also, so that one may come out next month.

I thought about going the week after Veteran's Day instead, but I'm such a kid, I love that "full" Disney Christmas experience, ya' know; esp since it's the only time my entire family (my hubby too) goes to Disneyland. I'm also looking forward to the new Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthough!
