Nemo - riding in day vs. night

Anyway, we rode at night and I wondered if there is a significantly different ride experience during the day? Can you see things during the first part of the ride during the day that you might now see at night and conversely, do the lights at night make any difference by spotlighting certain areas?

The lights they used did a pretty good job of showing everything, but without making it seem overly bright or artifical. The only downside I found was that since it was darker, my eyes were better adjusted to the light by the time we got into the caves, so it was a little easier to see how the illusions worked. Other than that (which really wasn't a big deal, I was just trying to figure it out and succeded), they are essentially the same.
