Disney has been test MagicBands with select AP Holders. I received mine 2 weeks ago and I posted here how much I love the whole FP+ system.

Testing is now complete and Disney is going to begin rolling out FP+/MagicBands to all AP holders over the next several weeks. She said that AP holders should watch their My Disney Experience home page and keep checking the MagicBands/Cards tab because the ability to get you MagicBand would most likely show up there first. She said if the Order MagicBand icon is there to click on it and order yours asap. Disney will be rolling out AP holders MagicBands in waves so as not to overrun the system but Disney expects every AP holder to be online in several weeks.

I've taken a couple trips recently, and got new room key cards and MBs for each, but since all of them were linked to my My Disney Experience account, all of them worked the same. So I can change the color of my Magic Band each day by swapping in one from a previous trip, without actually having to adjust anything while I'm there
