    I did read that when they air this as a four-part TV show later on they will be extended cuts, so I'm not sure I want to buy this initial DVD. Also, assuming the DVD is full-price, we'll eventually be paying $100 or so for what amounts to 16 episodes of a TV show.

    Probably because they will split it into 4 episodes later.

    It was just a bad plot plain and simple. I can see it being even more convoluted split into 4 chunks

    I think that biggest problem with the movie is that it kept the same pace as a 22 minute TV episode (and I have no idea of how they will split this into 4 episodes). I was exhausting to watch! I would recommend to others to pause it 2 or 3 times and take a break.

    I also thought that the slam against Fox was overdone. Yeah, you're pissed they cancelled the show, get over it!
