Originally Posted By FerretAfros What really amazes me about both of those videos (and even the one from LA : ) is how preparred for earthquakes Japan is on a cultural level. Yes, in the Narita one people are running, but they're doing it in a very orderly manner and headed straight for the exit. In the TDS one, after the shaking lets up, people stay calm, in the same area, and most stay sitting on the ground. They just know what to do. I can't imagine the chaos that would ensue if an earthquake of any size occured during Fantasmic! at DL. It's bad enough there after the show concludes the normal way; if there was some sort of natural disaster, no matter how small, it would just get rediculous. These videos really do highlight to me just how strong and well preparred Japan is on a public mindset level. It's just incredible to me.

Amazing technology, but still...(and that sort of technology probably saved lives! people had a chance to turn off the gas, find a safe place, the trains were able to stop, etc...).
