The temps have been in the high 80s and low 90s all week. Yesterday, the 18th we had a brief rain shower and everyone cleared the parks and went shopping at the nearby Malls, making it impossible to find a parking space. Oh yes! and the Dixie Stampeed was putting up with Christmas decorations yesterday! I agree, Disney is always busy now. Its just a question of just how crowded the parks are. Right now they are crowded. I'm not going to say we are seeing Christmas size crowds, but its definatley March sized crowds.

I am not the only one who notices the Virging Atlantic crowd.

One cast member told me is was the busiest since New Years. I also noticed and talked to a lot of folks from Alabama? Apparently the whole state was on Fall Break? And yes, tons of Europeans, especially British, tourists. But when the US Dollar is collapsing and they get $2 for every pound, can you blame them? If I were a Brit I'd be living it up at the Grand Floridan. American's sure can't afford to stay there anymore.... One more thing for another post - last week we flew Soutwest and they suddenly changed their family pre-board policy. Combine that with their new boarding policy, much higher prices and non-participation in the Disney Express transportation from the airport, they have certainly turned un-family friendly. Unbelieveably, I now have a reason to go back to the legacy airlines.....

I would say at this point that I don't own any England rugby or soccer tops, but don't see the problem in people wanting to show their team support?? Sorry rant over...

No doubt about it. If they had to depend on simply traveling Americans in 2007, there'd be cutbacks galore.
