well, I did. according to the cm I was talking with-
there is no longer a standard 10% discount in riots booked. you are expected to book and then call back if you become aware if an ap discount you need to call back and see if you are eligible to adjust the cost.
    this frustrates me!!
well, besides the fact that I dislike pretty much any changes in my life- lol!! i have always been happy to think i was probably the only person in iowa to have an ap to dl!! and why would I have one? 'cause the room discount pays for itself!!
and the fact that everybody in iowa seems to go I wdw and jot dl.
I grew up with dl- my kids grewup with dl-dl is what we do!! when our family of 12.5 heads west, that discount in rooms sure comes in handy!!
so, anyway- anybody else have this same info?
I am not always sure every cm at reservations is the smartest about ap benefits, etc.

not at the time of booking.
there use to be a 10% automatic discount at time of booking. you could watch for later ap offers and get a better price.
those deals are usually 2-3 months prior to arrival.
for those of us that have to plan ahead, you need to book- sometimes 12 months out.
so no discount. and then you have to just hope a "sale" comes along later- that you are aware of it and you call back to rebook.
so, in the end- unless you catch an ap offer that is published- there is no automatic ap discount.
    boo!!!
