During the ride to the castle, from the beginning of Main St USA (stroller rental), I asked the lady at the reigns if there were plans to discontinue this trdition. She said, "I certainly hope not as I've been doing this for over 20 years." I think we're safe on the horse drawn street cars. The 2nd cast member who I suppose has the job of watching the passengers/guests, agreed and they had a good laugh.
