DH got in the spirit and put the white twinkly lights on the outside bushes. They WILL NOT be turned on until after Thanksgiving. He was forbidden to put out the snowmen or the Mickey and Minnie blow up car or the Winnie and Tigger see saw or the rotating snowflakes :)

There, confession is good for the soul, right?

Anyone else have any Christmas things up? Come on, confess :)

I only have a few Thanksgiving things and I got those out. Then I brought in a couple of Christmas boxes. (I have about 15.)
My intention was to bring in some more before now but have not had the chance. I may bring in some tomorrow.
So yeah, I have started. I am already wearing Christmas shirts. I just love this time of year.

RoadTrip, DH's father didn't teach him about "exterior illumination" either (good one:):) It's still hit or miss with him but he is determined to get it right one of these days :)

When the guests leave I get compulsive about taking all the Thanksgiving/Fall things down. It's like I'm itching for them to leave and I really like them :) The past few years the "kids" and DH go to a movie and I'm practically shoe horning them out the door. A MUST is for my Fall coffee mugs be washed and put away and the Christmas mugs be put out for Black Friday :) Everything else is piled on the dining room table to be put away another day :)

Oh, and in spite of living in a house full of men, guess who's up on that ladder stringing lights! And believe me, my dad didn't teach me a thing about exterior lighting either.

The new LEDs, the remaining C-7's and the plastic molds, figurines and light show Christmas trees go up all during this week after work and into Thanksgiving weekend. My Dad taught me nothing about anything, but I do know a few things about exterior illumination.
