It was July 18,1955 @the age of 12. The next day he landed a job hawking "The Disneyland News". Shortly after he became "Tom Sawyer" @ the park but only as long as he kept a "C" average in school and reported to Mr.Disney with his grade card. He worked at the park throughout his childhood and eventually became a manager. He transfered to WDW in 1971 as a manager of the monorails. He later helped open DLP. He retired in June of 03 with 48 years of service and was inducted as a Disney Legend September 20,2005. What a great human interest story, just thought it was worth sharing.

One of the qualifacations was to have a pay check from Walt Disney dated 1955. How blessed to have a job you truely love and loves you back.
