As far as housekeeping goes, the rooms have always been clean when we check-in and when they come back in the middle of the week. I would expect that all the DVC resorts like all the non-DVC resorts get refurbed over time. I believe the Contemporary was the last deluxe hotel to get refurbed, and I'm sure there was a stark contrast to those rooms pre- and post refurb.

I know if I had those problems I would be sure to bring it to their atteniton to sort it out. We stayed at OKW last year and it was dated but I always thought that was its charm, but it was never dirty.
