Robbin had made us some persimmon cookies which was a lovely surprise. We should have all gone up to the concierge lounge to have a coffee, instead of standing around the tree but we didn’t think of it until it was too late! Sorry Robbin! We went straight over the GCH lobby and took a photo of the Christmas tree, as last year we were unlucky enough to arrive at the resort a few hours AFTER it burned down! A CM also was there and took a photo of us in front of the tree. We then hit the shops! I was on a mission to get as many Christmas decorations as I could get before they all sold out and Barry knew in advance this was my mission and decided to stay with me instead of going into the park alone. I know some of you won’t believe I went to WOD first before DL but that’s the way it was! LOL I felt relief at getting my decorations and then I could relax. We have first day photo’s where the entire queen size bed in our room, is full of shopping bags, lol Finally we entered DL and it was magical as always. We entered through the left tunnel as we always do and it’s just a thrill to realise you are finally back once again! We loved the Tree and I was pleased to see the garlands back across Main Street, the whole place was beautiful, we stayed until we could not keep our eyes open any longer. The next morning was Christmas Eve! Yipee we were in the Happiest place on Earth for Christmas! We had booked the Plaza Inn for Minnie’s Christmas breakfast so went to DL early. They seated us quite quickly and we had a great time with all the characters! I felt a bit sorry for Barry as every time he went to eat a mouthful, I would tell him to stop as a Character was coming and I wanted a pix and if you know Baz he likes his food and was giving me THE look! LOL I mean, we are not here for food! Haha. Lucky he’s a good sport and we were having fun and got pix with Pooh Bear, Fairy Godmother, Tigger, Minnie , Chip & Dale, Hook ( he pretended to strangle Barry ) and my fav Pooh character Eeyore! They were all dressed in their Christmas clothes with hat’s and scarves, which I just love! After breakfast we went to Tomorrowland and got a FP for space, bought Barry a new Indiana hat in Adventureland and then we went on BTMRR. It’s such a good ride and we like to do it in the daytime and then again in the night time! We headed over to see Santa at the Reindeer ranch and I got a nice photo of me with Santa. I missed out last year so I wanted to make sure I didn’t this year! It was quite a warm day and we ended up peeling off our coats to walk around. We returned back to our room to change for dinner and then stayed in the park until it closed. It was very cute to see all the happy children’s faces going home from DL to wait for Santa! Basically we then strolled around Downtown Disney with no set order just enjoying the music and the atmosphere. We stayed until it closed. Department 56 had a 30-50% off sale and as I can’t resist a sale, we clambered back to the room quite late with very full arms! LOL

Then after we have played with the characters we go back for our real food. Waiting to hear more of your fabulous Christmas trip.
