Technically, this has not been publicly confirmed by Disney in a press release or official statement, so technically it is still a rumor. I will say that the rumors of Block Party Bash going over to DisneyMGM have been backed up with confirmation by several sources within Disney internally. One, an individual at another Disney message board who does work for Disney has confirmed the move, as well as another contact of mine high up in the entertainment dept. at disneyland. Members of the Block Party cast and other parade performers who post at the various message boards have also said the move is likely happening, and some have said it is definitely happening. Someone else I speak with in Show Services at Disneyland has also confirmed the move. As well as several other folks I speak with that have close ties to disney. So overall, yes, you could still stay it is a rumor. But, from my personal sources, and others publicly on the net who do work for disney, all the answers have been a 'yes' for the Block Party move to MGM. Now, it should be known that the Block party bash in florida will be different. The actuall changes to the show are not known at this time, but they are rumored to take out the acrobats on the trampolines, tone down the dance routine, possibly cut some other elements, and focus more on the Pixar characters themselves, rather than on the Pixar Pals (dancers), acrobats and green army men. Again, this is all just speculation at this time. And it should also be known that since disney has not officialy stated the move, and they may not, that all things can change immediately at Disney. The other rumor is that DCA is to get another Pixar themed parade, much like a Block party 2 with new elements and new themes. again, this is all being worked out. Supposedly MGM did not want anything but the block party bash straight from DCA, and not a new pixar parade in developement. hope that clears things up, and sorry if I confused anyone.
