At the Studios, as you exited the Tram Tour, you were deposited into the Looney Bin, which had an ACME Warehouse theme from the movie. Props from the movie were there, including the steam roller. The actual Dip Mobile was located nearby on New York Street. There were cutout plywood characters that you could stand next to for photo ops, etc. Along Hollywood Blvd, in a window above the Diner, the window shade that Roger 'crashed' through with his cutout image was hung. Maroon Cartoons had a billboard featuring Roger and Baby Herman on one of the building roofs. Of course, a walk-around character of Roger could be found there as well as at all the other WDW parks. So, there were plenty of Roger references throughout the park. In fact, a Roger Rabbit area was planned for the park where Rock n' Roller Coaster now is located. It was going to be known as Roger Rabbit's Hollywood in a recreation of Maroon Cartoon Studios and feature a Toowntown Trolley simulator ride and a Baby Herman Runaway Baby Buggy dark ride/roller coaster. Unfortunately, the legal problems between Steven Spielberg and Disney on the character rights never got worked out, so all plans for those attractions were dropped. Elsewhere at WDW, Roger was prominantly featured in the Spectromagic parade, being the conductor on the Silly Symphony float. He was later replaced by Genie after the parade took a 18 month hiatus in 1996 for the Main Street Electrical Parade during WDW's 25th anniversary. When Spectromagic returned, Roger was nowhere to be found. http://www.jimhillmedia.com/mb...-web.jpg At Pleasure Island, a store dedicated to Jessica Rabbit was a major focal point called "Jessica's". It featured a large neon outlined Jessica with swinging leg on top of the store. http://fc04.deviantart.com/fs3...nepa.jpg So, Roger Rabbit and friends once held a prominent place at WDW. Now, the seemingly only reference to Roger Rabbit now is at the POP Century resort in the 1980s wing. http://inlinethumb23.webshots....0Q85.jpg Sad, there's still so much potential for his usage, especially at the Studios...
