Although I haven't seen PTN in person yet, I suspect those floats would look rather small in comparison to the huge Dreamlights fleet. It's also interesting to see that the Pan and Tangled floats have some large areas that look more like a daytime float, without the lights embedded in them (mostly the masts and tower); it seems like the older floats have lights on everything that we're supposed to see, though there's plenty of illumination to see these things too

I was also wondering whether the small world floats were refurbished floats, or built new from the ground up. If they were simply refurbished, I imagine they would have been taken out of the parade for a while, since they got some pretty serious upgrades.

I've never seen Dreamlights in person so I can't compare, but the DLR Paint the Night floats are huge, and they look as big or bigger than what I see in the video linked in the first post. They are as long, wide, tall as any I've ever seen at DL with maybe the exception of the Party Gras parade.

It's tough to get some sense of scale on parade floats at TDL since the route never gets especially close to any buildings (except for a ~100 yard stretch in Westernland) but those floats are huge too. I would guess that both the Pan and Tangled floats are probably about as tall as the buildings on DL's Main Street. Most of the small world ones would have parts sticking out above those roofs

    >>FULL Parade<<

It looks like they've made some other changes too, most notably giving the Blue Fairy video screen wings, and changing the horses that follow her. I like her new wings, but I don't like the new horses. Instead of making it look like the horses are actually marching along, they now look like carousel horses, and also have video wings for some random reason. They look like they're a lot smaller than the previous ones (which where huge for such 'small' floats) and there were only 2 of them instead of 6. Although simple, the old ones were one of my favorite parts of the parade. Here's what they used to look like for reference:

The ledge sticking out on the left side is the Star Jets platform, which is a copy of the PeopleMover/original rocket spinner in WDW. It's a little taller than DL's PM tower, and looks like the floor is about level with the bottom of the Blue Fairy's wings (she's a little farther away in the photo). The building in the background is a copy of Cosmic Ray's from MK, and is probably about the height of a typical 2-story building

You can easily get a basic sense of the scale of the floats by looking at the performers.

BTW Ferret, I'm sure I've asked this before, but what region do you hail from? I ask because your posts sometimes seem to be the only ones I get to see "during the day" in Tokyo, which is nice since you always post something cool. :)
