They CAN it just isn't much fun. At least it wasn't for my 8 year old. Also even if they aren't tall enough they can still drive, you just have to push the "gas" pedal which is quite heavy!

DS12 drives my now 10 yr old ds- he doesn't seem to care but I think next time he'll want his own car. Then DS8 drives my hubby, and DS6 always drives me with DS2 in the middle of us. I think DS2 might want to drive next time we go b/c he'll be almost 3 so I may have to go twice; once with DS2 driving and once with DS6 driving. Well I call them go-carts- ya' know, the ones at Boomers that you drive around the track.
