I'm sure he thought it was a fun attraction, and he put a lot of effort into it, but I would describe something like EPCOT as "Walt's dream" before Pirates, that's for sure!

Because Disneyland is not a museum. If they were to ruin Walts dream I think they would be better off not to upgrade anything in the park, including Pirates of Space or anything, just leave it as it is forever. Yeah I beleive it was his last project, or atleast attraction at Disneyland. But Walt never liked things to get stale, he was far to ahead of his time to let things go unchanged for very long. I look forward to new additions, and I think WDI knows that many of us love this ride, so they will be careful not to dent her.

I think that all that work for Disney are dedicated to preserving the dream of Walt. Ultimately I think he wanted to make something that was going to be around for 200 years and the only way that this is going to happen is with change. And as several people have mentioned he always said that Disneyland was never going to be changed. I know that its hard to except change but we are going to have to trust the people in charge.
