As far as the current Criminal Minds, it's got a great ensemble cast (that was originally headed up by Mandy Patinkin, but now Joe Mantenga) that plays the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit. Basically, they're the people that profile and help police catch serial killers. It's very well-written, and the characters all have complex backstories.
