For $40+ per person, I want to be able to play! Any thoughts on crowd levels at DQ? We would be going in the evening of our Sunday arrival, since there will be no Extra Evening Magic Hours that night.

For our age group they have all the video games we grew up with. Also fun for the family, we love riding the motorcycle video games against each other ( 6 or 7 in a row all synched up so you race each other) and the numerous interactive sim games are fun. For your teens, if they are video gamers they will find something they enjoy. Concerning the video games and why the crowd is important, we have found that very few guests observe the courtesy of playing a game then moving on to allow the next person in line to play. Often on the games players will play for extended amounts of time which makes it difficult to get on a game. That's why later seems to be better as most families with pre-teens will head back to their rooms in prep for the next day by 9pm. If you haven't considered water parks and more pass you should. The water parks are great overlooked attractions at WDW. Summit plummit at Blizzard beach is a must have experience. Typhoon lagoon has a water coaster Crush n Gusher, and a snorkling pool with tropical fish. Not only are these parks fun but they are also a great break from the hustle of the parks. We usually have 7 days at WDW and we will spend at least 2 half days in the water parks. They close at 5pm so there is still time to visit the major parks afterward.
