Into Nazi Zombies in Norway? Then by all means check out Ded Snow. (Dead Snow is the Americanized name.)

Oh... oooh... ooooh (raises hand and flails around): a screwball comedy from the 30's that it not nearly as famous as Bringing Up Baby or His Girl Friday or some others: Libeled Lady. And ooohh....oooh.... if you haven't seen it yet: His Girl Friday. Another of my top 5. Fastest dialogue of any movie EVER. And you get to hear Cary Grant refer to his real name: "Why, the last person to say that to me was Archie Leach..." Labuda, have you ever seen Lone Star? I love it, and I'd be interested in your take on it, since it's very much about contemporary (and a generation-ago-through-flashbacks) Texas.

Silly, hyper, twisted, playful, childish, borderline incoherent ... there ain't much else out there that resembles it. The animated figures are actual toys and thrift store junk, with no attempt to maintain relative scale or natural movement and no possibility of expressiveness, but you won't miss it cause you'll be laughing too much. It's one of my favorite movies from last year, and one of the several flicks from '09 that I enjoyed more than Up. (Yes, I know, I'm strange for not liking Up more. Sosumi.) It's too hard to describe in a discussion board post, so read this review: http://www.dvdizzy.com/atownca...nic.html Or just start watching the thing. Seriously. Get going.
