I was amazed that not many people were waiting/asking to ride them.

The funny thing about the golden "vehicles" was that all of the sudden each one is not the same and my kids were really trying hard to get the thing and then really disappointed when they didn't get it. Before, it was as though every one was the same so it didn't matter. For me as the mom, it was just one more thing to fret about because they both wanted it.

They did get their fair share of turns and sometimes it just worked out that we did get the golden teacup and some others. DD got to ride on the Golden Dumbo but I thought she was going to kill herself running for it even though we were first in line-lol. It was such a thrill for her and ds got the golden horse last trip so this trip he had it all planned out that he would get it for dd.

I thought it was a nice brotherly gesture and what luck, we were just 2nd in line behind an infant whose parents didn't care. At the last minute before they open the gate, a man tells his son to butt up in front of us so he can get the golden horse. Well, he did beat ds to it (mainly because my son is not allowed to push and shove-lol)and I actually embarassed myself telling the dad, "That wasn't nice to have your kid butt in front of mine. Mine wanted to ride it too."

Hold on to your chairs because what happened next shocked me: The dad made his kid get off and give it to my dd and actually apologized!! I swear I couldn't believe it!!! I never speak up for myself simply because it usually isn't worth it and also because I am basically a chicken who thinks everyone is probably psycho and will go off on me but this time it just sort of slipped right out of my mouth before I could catch myself! Can you believe it?

Now I hate the stupid golden vehicles....can't wait for everything to go back to "Normal"-lol
