My No. 1 location is the walkway between WL and FW ... you can run into dear, armadillos, raccoons, snakes ... and even pick an orange from wild citrus trees that date back before WDW existed.

It's a great place to walk and think ... or bike and exercise.

However, Spirit, thank you for reminding me one of the things I hate about WDW (I am terrified of snakes, so much so I have difficulty getting rid of the residual from the dinning plans unless I am on an upper floor.

Have you ever tried the trail over by the beach on the other side of the bike rental?

Funny how you just can't wait to get to WDW, and jump into the action. Then when you get there you want to find some place quiet to spend time by yourself.

    I didn't get to see #5 either.

My peaceful moment would be my 7AM morning stroll at the Poly, go to Capt. Cook's for OJ and milk, then walk around taking in all the beauty. And the ducks getting escorted away from the Volcano, only to return the next day. The maintenance man laughingly told me that no matter where he takes them, they always return.

I took the segway tour between WL and FW and it was so great. Did you know WL has a hidden Mickey on the outside? As the old Imagineers leave and the new ones come in, I expect to see less of these fun touches.

And FortWilderness is fabulous, I am always in the Pet Loop with my sassy GreyHounds. Very nice. Great place to stop, take a breath and take on the magic Kingdom....
