We headed off to US:IoA. I was so excited about the WWoHP! It was amazing how people in line to buy tickets did not know how many days or what parks or anything they wanted! People, figure out what you want before you get to the window (the line was long enough) or let other people go ahead of you! I heard that it was best to do Harry Potter later in the day and we weren’t at the park at opening either. We hadn’t wanted to catch Mears two hours early and we just had to grab Cinnabon on the way in.

We headed straight to Spiderman. It was incredible! We rode twice with no wait. DH had already decided against Hulk alone, and I was too congested to even consider coasters that are too scary for me in the first place. We asked at the dining reservations booth if we needed reservations for Mythos later and they told us that we wouldn’t. It was a warm day and DH voted for water rides even though I gave him the LP warnings. We went on the raft ride first with no wait. We were in the raft with one boy around 17. He was really energetic and it was fun to laugh at each other getting soaked. Next we went on the log ride with no wait. DH took a picture of the empty queue area. I really liked the Dudley DoRight theming. We were going to go on Jurassic Park but it was closed. We headed back to the log ride area to do the “people dryer”. We both appreciated that, although there were still some chaffing issues apparent that evening. We waited five minutes to ride The Cat in the Hat, and it was definitely cute. We waited for the Sinbad Stunt show and were mildly amused. We got quickly out to Mythos and the wait for two was 45minutes. We were too hungry to wait. So we got horrible gyros nearby. The only good part was chatting with an English lady who now lives in Australia who shared our table.

Now we were ready for Harry Potter. This land is phenomenal! The theming is perfect. We loved it! DH rode Dueling Dragons (five min wait) and liked it. I went in every store, except Ollivander’s (hour-long wait). I grabbed a Butterbeer on tap in a souvenir mug. It was fantastic! DH got a real beer and we watched the Boar’s head move and grunt. I rode the Hippogriff ride and was glad that I got to see Hagrid’s. Our wait for Forbidden Journey was over 30 minutes but I loved the queue: so awesome. The ride was amazing too. Btw, I was glad I went to the restrooms there and got to hear Moaning Myrtle. Best theming anywhere! We left at 4:15.

We had dinner at Fulton’s Crab House at Downtown Disney. The crab was amazing! We had a weird waiter. I asked if the drink special could be made without the mango rum(I’m allergic to mangoes), and he told me there was no mango in it. Of course he couldn’t figure that out, so when the bartender told him that there was mango, he brought me a spiked lemonade instead. DH asked for a specific local beer on tap, and he got a blueberry-flavored beer instead. DH is from Germany and does not like sweet beers. So, DH then asked for a Newcastle and the waiter told him he would bring him something better. He brought some other beer, which my husband thought was okay, but not as good as Newcastle. What was wrong with this waiter? Normally we tip pretty well, but we couldn’t after he wouldn’t bring us the drinks that we wanted.
