So I guess 'Rocky and Bullwinkle' 'Dudley Do-Right' and 'George of the Jungle' [and the soon to be flop 'Underdog'] all tanking at the box office, isn't enough for Dreamworks -- they want to try their hand at a live action 'Mr. Peabody and Sherman.'

These Hollywood creative types sure are creative, aren't they?

I think this is the more important loss in the recent Disney animation history. Perhaps Pixar movies don`t flop economically, but their famous storytelling need people like Sanders to maintain it fresh and new. His style is unique, his drawings have a weird proportion what makes them real.
Admit this, till now, Pixar has been formulaic, and they are successful because artists are in charge.
For me Chris was the Brad Bird of Disney, and remember Brad in some way saved Pixar.
    We will miss you Stitch.

Absolutely. Maybe I'm a bit more biased since Stitch is my favorite Disney character to come along since Prince John. But this news is big.

WDFA has had one bright shining spot (artistically and financially) in the last 7 years, and that was "Lilo and Stitch." And that was ALL Chris Sanders.

WDFA needs talent. Desperately. The Pixar People talk a good game about how they're all about the artist. Obviously that's not true.

And for the first time since I was 13 years old, I don't care about any animated movie that Disney has coming out.
