I'm sure it'll be way better, but that's what comes to mind.

He said it would have a ceremonial feel, and would start off very slowly, to the point that some people might start getting up and leaving. But throughout the show it will continue to build and add new elements that will create a celebratory atmosphere. It sounds like it will have a similar overall tone to Illuminations, but with modern technology, which makes me really excited for it

I'm also excited that they seem to be taking a careful approach to crafting a dramatic arc throughout the show. With WOC (at least the pre-60th version(s), I haven't seen the current one yet), they pretty much show off all the tricks within the first few minutes of the show and then you watch them all happen again and again. If they held some things until late in the show (like they do with the fire), it would help make it more engaging for the entire length of the show

I'm still uber intrigued every time they mention live performers. This is going to be incredible...and it all appears in 8-months-ish!

The Pandora stuff still excites, as that world is particularly stunning. The nighttime stuff also stuns, but just the land as a whole, in daylight, looks incredible. The big bummer is that we got no real news since the 2013 Japan Expo. We know two rides, they broadly described two rides, and that's it. They still seem great, however, but still a bummer.

Oh, and the Kilimanjaro news is thrilling too. SUNSET RIDES! HYENAS! EXPANSION! They could've just said "We are adding more padding to the seats" and I would've been ecstatic, 'cause SAFARI!

Even if someone didn't like the movie, I don't get how people can not have seen the potential for this land. Whatever the movie's flaws, they were mainly in the plotting. The movie always looked amazing.

That said, I agree with Jim that there's a huge potential for it to look really cheesy if done improperly. There's a glowing forest scene in Journey to the Center of the Earth at TDS that looks amazing, but you only have a few seconds to take it all in. It seems like many of these elements will be on the slow-moving boat ride or outdoors (where they're subject to inspection during daylight), so I hope they still hold up when seen for longer periods

There are 2 sequels in the works. The first one should be out around the time that World of Avatar opens.

Hasn't that franchise lost it's momentum? It's taking forever for the sequels and in my case the franchise has lost its mind presence.
