I found this wonderful website about a group of folks who were hired to do work for most all the Disney properties. This site is full of concept art- and we all know how I like concept art!

Some of their stuff includes Disneyland, WDW, and Disney Sea, as well as Epcot. Posted some higher res and easier to see stuff on my blog this morning. But the whole site is SO cool. They really are great at what they do. Check it out: www.insightsandsounds.blogspot.com

Another needless casualty in the political wars of Glendale.

They came up with the “reasonable†excuse that the Kirks were no longer needed, as Disney would never again do a project of the scale of Tokyo DisneySea. Political jealousy was extreme at the time. Unfortunately, while some of the situation has improved, much of that kind of attitude remains. I think their focus on outsourcing is a bit of a result of that kind of thinking.
