Basically now you can book a room at any time and get discount rates on the rooms as they announce them on the AP site. Its much more convenient for those who like to make those last minute, spontaneous trips...as many AP holders do.

For the first time ever, or as far back as we can remember, we had a horrible restroom experience at MK.. It was Feb 10th 2006 and we had just exited POTC and my wife and I had to use the restrooms adjacent to the ride.. I could not believe the smell in there.. It reminded of the good old days, when you stopped at a roadside Gas station.. My wife came out, and before I could open my mouth she said the same thing about her restroom.. I hope this was a isolated instance...

I think attack is not quite the right word.. Like the best rate program, the way you keep any company on their toes is to let them know where the problems lie... I've really never had any complaints about their restrooms.. This last time could have been a mis-communication of employees or just a slip up... You hate to see any company that I care about start to slip in their service and cleanliness... Hopefully it was just a isolated case...

Originally Posted By LuvDatDisney "You hate to see any company that I care about start to slip in their service and cleanliness... Hopefully it was just a isolated case... " Sadly, no. This has been a trend downward for years now. And really the only way you can hope for improvement is to either embarrass Disney by getting the word out and complain at City Hall in writing. They have cut millions out of custodial budgets over the past decade ... that's why the bathrooms may be great on an uncrowded day, but quickly become dirty on even a moderately crowded one.

And if Walmart is a company you care about, I just don't want to go down that path right now and hijack this thread

Most of my experiences at Disney bathrooms have been very positive...and the combination of somewhat less focus on maintenance ( at least compared to late 80's - early 90's standards ) - and the fact that people in general have become slobbier everywhere, not just WDW is not a good one....but still light years ahead of their competition IMHO.
