Whether it's propulsion systems, boat refurbs, set painting, costumes, it doesn't matter. They do it all at once. And since they do not refurb at night as much anymore, these rides tend to go down longer. It's unfortunate for you.

And since we're talking about WDW's pirates, it could only be improved anyway.

The Sparrowization at MK has really muddied the attraction because it is so shoehorned, so forced into a much shorter, more condensed area to begin with. No sooner have you left the dock then you see Davy Jones (the projection isn't very clear either but ...) immediately. It's just very jarring. In Anaheim, they were able to seamlessly integrate the characters. They feel more like they belong in that narrative. Not in O-Town.
